Before that, they served as a Researcher and Consultant in Environmental Management at Universidad de los Andes from 2011 to 2014. Julián also had a brief stint as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company from August 2012 to February 2013. Julián started their career as a Junior Consultant at Oportunidad Estrategica in December 2011 and worked until July 2012.

Julián Ortiz has a strong educational background with degrees from reputable institutions. Julián obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Universidad de Los Andes, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics at the same university from 2012 to 2014.
