Brook Pyhtila

Brook Pyhtila has a diverse work experience in scientific research and curation. They started their career as a Graduate Student at Stanford University, where they focused on characterizing yeast karyopherin-nucleoporin interactions. They then worked as a Post-doctoral Scientist at Duke University, where they conducted research on a previously unidentified mRNA partitioning pathway. At Emory University, they served as a Post-doctoral Scientist and initiated a study on children diagnosed with Duarte galactosemia.
