David Engel

David Engel is a legal professional with extensive experience in reputation and information protection, currently serving as the Head of Reputation & Information Protection at Addleshaw Goddard since May 2001. In this role, David Engel utilizes laws related to defamation, privacy, confidentiality, and data protection to safeguard the interests of businesses, individuals, and families. As a Partner, expertise encompasses media and internet disputes as well as commercial litigation. Prior to this position, David Engel worked at Theodore Goddard from September 1993 to April 2001, first as an Associate and then as a Trainee Solicitor. David Engel holds a degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford and completed the CPE/Law Society Finals at the College of Law from 1991 to 1993.
