Alan L. Boyce

Alan L. Boyce is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agriculture, renewable energy, and finance. Currently serving as a Soil Health Entrepreneur at Arizona Algae Farms LLC, Boyce focuses on growing algae to enhance soil health. As Executive Chairman of Materra, a key agricultural production company, Boyce oversees operations on 15,000 acres across California and Arizona. Additionally, Boyce holds board positions at both Urban Water Institute, Inc. and Imperial Valley Water, contributing to water management initiatives. As Founder and CEO of Westlands Solar Farms, Boyce leads the largest farmer-owned solar development company in California, focusing on renewable energy solutions. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer at Prairie Harvesters LLC, and leadership positions in significant ventures such as the Absalon Project and Countrywide Financial. Boyce earned an MBA in Finance from Stanford University and a BA in Economics from Pomona College.
