Jun Min

Jun Min is a highly experienced principal scientist specializing in bioinformatics and data science, currently leading the bioinformatics/data science team at Adela, Inc. since June 2022. With a strong background in algorithm development for next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, Jun has contributed significantly to applications such as multi-cancer early detection and minimal residual disease. Prior roles include senior bioinformatics scientist at Guardant Health, where advanced machine learning models were developed to predict colorectal cancer, and computational biologist at Janssen Pharmaceutical, focusing on therapeutics for autoimmune diseases. Jun's extensive expertise includes algorithm and pipeline development, cross-functional project leadership, and successful research contributions recognized at numerous scientific conferences. Educational qualifications consist of a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from UC San Diego, complemented by both BS and MS degrees in the same field.
