The Latino population in Yakima now exceeds 50% and there’s been continued growth shown across the predominantly-Latino Yakima Valley, as well. Eastern Washington also boasts the largest Latino average household income of any region in the entire Northwest ($55,485). Today, it goes well beyond Yakima, as Tri-Cities and Wenatchee/Moses Lake are two of the most significant merging Hispanic markets in the entire United States. La Gran D engages listeners with a music intensive format featuring big contests, top notch radio personalities -- including the syndicated program “Erazno Y La Chokolata”. La Gran D’s Regional Mexican format addresses the musical taste of first and second generation individuals of predominantly Mexican origin this format is in Yakima, Tri-cities and Wenatchee/Moses Lake. Latino is a Spanish Contemporary Hit Radio station, playing “Solo Exitos”… only hits! It targets young Hispanic adults, 18-49, this format is in the Tri-cities. Juan is a Spanish Adult Hits station targeting Adults 25-49 who want a mix of the biggest hits from the 80’s, 90’s and today. Juan serves the Yakima market.
