Adelphi University
Ivan Dempsey Hyatt serves as an Associate Professor at Adelphi University since August 2015, having previously been an Assistant Professor at the same institution. Prior experience includes a post-doctoral researcher role in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from January 2011 to July 2015, and a graduate student at the University of Florida from August 2005 to December 2010, where Ivan completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry. Prior educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Mathematics from East Carolina University, where studies were completed from August 2001 to May 2005. Additionally, Ivan gained experience in quality analysis during a position at DSM in 2003.
