Suhit Gupta

Suhit Gupta is a Trustee at Adelphi University and a former Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Suhit has over 20 years of experience in leading technology initiatives and teams across various industries.

Prior to joining Adelphi University, Suhit served as the CIO and Solutions at The Carlyle Group. In this role, they were responsible for Carlyle’s global information technology initiatives, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business applications. Suhit also helped to drive technology-enabled solutions across the firm.

Before their time at Carlyle, Suhit was the CTO and Principal at Mapt Technologies. In this role, they were responsible for the business value derived from technology solutions for Carlyle’s Solutions business segment, which offers Investment Management services to the marketplace. The Solutions segment develops and manages investment products in Hedge Fund, Real Asset and Private Equity vehicles.

Suhit has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Columbia Business School.

Suhit Gupta received a PhD in Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York. Suhit also received an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York. Suhit studied abroad in Computer Science and Math at the University of Oxford. Suhit received a B.S. in Computer Science and Math from Adelphi University.
