Sagnak Tasirlar is a highly experienced technical professional with a robust background in software engineering and data science. Currently a Member of Technical Staff at Adept AI Labs since October 2022, Sagnak previously worked as a Quantitative Software Engineer at Two Sigma from April 2016 to August 2020, where significant contributions included optimizing feature pipelines and implementing cloud solutions for sensitive code. Sagnak's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rice University and an M.S. from Syracuse University. Teaching experience spans co-instructing a Functional Programming course at Rice and serving as a teaching assistant for multiple classes. Furthermore, Sagnak has held various graduate internship roles at Intel Corporation and its subsidiaries, focusing on runtime systems and parallel programming optimizations.
