Currently serving as the Communication & Marketing Manager at Adeso since January 2025, Halima oversees the Kuja platform's communications strategy and key events. Prior to this role, Halima was the Action Africa Coordinator (Consultant) at ACTION Global Health Advocacy Partnership, focusing on enhancing communication among hub members and coordinating advocacy efforts. As a Community Engagement Consultant at Adeso, Halima developed an online strategy for member engagement. Experience as a Communications Officer at Campus France involved content creation, social media management, and project oversight. Additionally, Halima worked as a Junior Content Editor for Opera Software AS, handling content and campaigns. Halima holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the United States International University - Africa.

Adeso
Adeso is a humanitarian and development organization that is changing the way people think about and deliver aid in Africa. We are an NGO in Africa working in a very different way than most. We believe that development must come from within, not outside African communities. That it is Africans themselves who must determine Africa’s future, and that while international aid has provided much-needed support, it often falls short of enabling lasting change at grassroots level. We want to change this, and our strong bonds with African communities mean we are uniquely placed to do so.
