Rakesh Patel, P.E., PMP has extensive work experience in engineering and project management roles. Rakesh is currently the Principal, Director of Operations & Innovation at ADF Engineering, Inc. where they oversee the operations and promotes innovation. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Innovation and Process & Mech Group Manager at the same company. Rakesh also worked as a Principal and Manager for the Process & Mechanical groups, as well as the Mechanical Engineering Manager at ADF Engineering.

Before joining ADF Engineering, Rakesh worked as a Project Manager at Process Plus, where they led project teams and was responsible for technical, quality, and budget goals on various projects. Rakesh also has experience working at Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies North America as a Mechanical & Project Engineering Manager and Senior Project Engineer. In these roles, they led engineering groups, completed detailed engineering and fabrication drawings for industrial water treatment equipment, and managed complex water treatment projects.

Rakesh's early career included working as a Project Manager/Engineer at JatroDiesel, where they managed the engineering and construction of Biodiesel projects. Rakesh also served as a Senior Engineer at AdTech Systems Research Inc.

Rakesh Patel, P.E., PMP pursued higher education starting in 1994 and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Manufacturing (Production) Engineering from the University. Rakesh continued their education at the University of Dayton from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Rakesh Patel has also obtained several certifications. In 2011, they became a Professional Engineer (PE) through the State of Ohio Engineers and Surveyors Board. Two years later, in 2013, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Lastly, in 2015, they obtained the Certified Project Manager (CPM) certification from the Xavier Leadership Center.
