Helen Budworth

Helen Budworth is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and regenerative medicine fields, currently serving as Senior Director of Program Development at Adicet Bio, Inc. since August 2022. Prior positions include Director of Program Lead and Director of Product Development and Management at Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc., as well as Senior Science Officer at the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, where management focused on a diverse portfolio of cell and gene therapy programs. Helen's early career included significant research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a Biochemist Research Scientist, investigating DNA repair roles in cancer and genetic diseases. Helen holds a DPhil in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and a BSc Hons in Genetics and Microbiology from the University of Liverpool.
