Jakob Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Jakob began their career at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg as a Studentische Hilfskraft, where they worked from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Navigon as a Diplomand. Jakob then moved on to Elektrobit (EB), where they worked in various roles, starting as a Software Developer from 2006 to 2007, then as a Senior Software Developer from 2007 to 2012, and finally as a Software Architect from 2012 to 2018. Currently, Jakob is working at adidas, where they started as a Senior Technical Product Owner from 2018 to 2020. Jakob then became a Senior Solution Architect from 2020 to 2022 and is currently serving as the Director Solution Architecture from May 2022.

Jakob Schmidt received a degree in Informatik (Computer Science) from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg in 2006.
