Joerg Doering has an extensive work experience in the finance and corporate services sectors. Joerg started their career at adidas AG in 1994, where they served as a Specialist/Team Leader in Group Accounting. In 1998, they joined Salomon GmbH as a Manager in Accounting & Controlling. Joerg then returned to adidas AG in 1999 as an Integration Coordinator and later became the Head of Corporate Services Controlling at adidas-Salomon AG. In 2002, they moved to adidas AG as the Head of Operations Controlling. In 2006, they joined adidas International Inc as the Head of Operations Controlling and in 2008 became the Chief Financial Officer for Global Operations at adidas International Trading BV. In 2012, they returned to adidas AG as the Senior Vice President for Group Functions Finance. Joerg held various senior leadership positions within the company, including Senior Vice President for Brand & Sales Finance and Senior Vice President for Corporate Performance Management before becoming the Senior Vice President for Finance in Europe. In November 2020, they assumed the role of Senior Vice President for Finance in EMEA at Adidas.
Joerg Doering attended the London Business School in 2014, where they completed the Senior Executive Programme. Prior to that, they studied at the Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuernberg from 1990 to 1996. Joerg graduated with a degree in Business Administration, specifically a Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH).
