Mark Heising's work experience includes various roles at different companies. Mark started their career as an Account Manager at Weber Shandwick Hamburg in 2000 and worked there until 2005. Mark then joined Faktor 3 as a PR Consultant from 2005 to 2007. After that, they worked at Weber Shandwick again, this time as an Account Director and Co-Head of Digital Communications from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, they joined Edelman as the Director of Edelman Digital and Head of Social Media Germany for a brief period of six months. In the same year, they began working at adidas, where they held several positions. These included Senior Global PR Manager from 2010 to 2011, Senior Brand Marketing Manager from 2011 to 2014, Director of Brand Communications Heartbeat Sports from 2014 to 2018, and Director of IT PMO & Transformation from 2018 to 2019. Mark also had a role as the Director of Product Management Agile from February 2019 to May 2019. In 2019, they joined Woolwind as a Founding Investor and Consultant, where they played a key role in developing and launching a tailcoat concept for orchestra musicians. Additionally, Heising returned to adidas in 2019 as the Head of Community & Engagement in the CIO Office. Mark Heising has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of PR, marketing, brand communications, and digital media.

Mark Heising attended the University of Düsseldorf from 1993 to 2000, where they earned a Dipl. Kfm degree in Economics.
