Timm Wagner's work experience includes roles at various companies. Timm started their career as a Student Consultant at DATEV in 2013, where they focused on technology identification. Timm then interned at The Prestwick Group and Concentro Management AG, gaining experience in brand strategy, communication, and consulting. In 2014, they became a Lecturer in Technology and Innovation Management at Siemens, contributing to the development of an Executive MBA program. Timm also served as a Visiting Lecturer at Universidad de Alcalá and Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, teaching courses on technology and innovation management to MBA and Bachelor students, respectively. From 2013 to 2017, Timm worked as a Research and Teaching Associate at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, focusing on innovation management while pursuing their PhD. In 2017, they joined GfK as a Consultant in Consumer Insights, where they managed projects and advised clients on marketing and innovation strategy. Timm joined adidas in 2018 and held various roles, including Senior Manager Strategic R&D, PMO Lead for the Sustainability Innovation Program, and Director Transformation Management within the CIO & Transformation Office. In their current role, they are responsible for driving digital transformation and empowering the global Tech organization at adidas.
Timm Wagner obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2011. Timm later pursued a Master's Degree in Management from the same institution, completing it in 2014. From 2013 to 2017, Timm Wagner furthered their education at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, earning a Doctorate in Technology and Innovation Management.
