Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson currently serves as the Director of Business Unit Purchasing - Americas and previously held the position of Director of Indirect Purchasing & Supplier Relations - Americas at Adient since August 2021. Johnson participated in the Adient Accelerate Leadership Program, a collaboration with the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business aimed at developing leaders within the organization. Prior to Adient, Johnson held various roles at Stellantis and FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, including Director of Tooling, Machinery, & Equipment Purchasing and Global Head of Exterior Vision Systems Purchasing. Johnson also gained experience at General Motors and General Electric in multiple purchasing and supply chain capacities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, an M.B.A. from Michigan State University, and ongoing Executive Education at the University of Michigan.
