Ajay Soni's work experience begins in 1988 as a Design Engineer at Larson & Toubro Limited. In 1989, they worked as an Operations Officer at HPCL. From 1992 to 1995, they held multiple roles including Export Manager and Business Planning Manager at ICI India. Ajay then joined Unilever in 1995 as a Business Development Manager until 2000. From 2000 to 2014, they worked at Aon Hewitt, starting as the Asia Pacific Practice Leader and taking on other roles. Since 2014, Ajay Soni has been the Chief Learning and Leadership Development Officer at Aditya Birla Group.
Ajay Soni earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad between 1990 and 1992. Ajay also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, which they obtained from 1984 to 1988. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation in 2023 and CEO Coach - Post-Graduate Programme in Executive Coaching (PGPEC) from the Coaching Foundation of India in 2015.
