Rodrigo Gutierrez

Rodrigo Gutierrez is a Senior Geomodeller at ADNOC Group since January 2020, previously serving as a PhD Researcher and Associate Professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from August 2016 to January 2020, focusing on multiscale sedimentary modeling in the South Pyrenees Basin. Prior experience includes roles as a Petroleum Geologist Consultant with Schlumberger (2013-2014), where responsibilities encompassed various geological analyses and mentoring, Reservoir Geologist at PDVSA Petrocedeño S.A. (2009-2013), focusing on sedimentological modeling and well site supervision, and Exploration Geologist at CVP PDVSA S.A. (2006-2009), quantifying hydrocarbon reserves in the Orinoco Belt. Rodrigo holds a PhD in Geology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Master’s degree in Reservoir Geology and Geophysics from Universitat de Barcelona.
