Thomas Byrne serves as the President and CEO of The Korea Society since August 2015 and holds adjunct professor positions at Columbia University in the School of International and Public Affairs and Georgetown University in the Graduate School of Foreign Service. Byrne is also an Honorary Ambassador for KOTRA and a Senior Advisor for Acreditus. Previous experience includes Senior Vice President and Manager at Moody's Investors Service and Senior Economist at the Institute of International Finance. Early career roles featured serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Thomas Byrne earned a Master of Arts in International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University.
