Danae Sawchyn

Danae Sawchyn has a diverse work experience in marketing and design. Danae is currently a Senior Associate at AdvanceCT, where they oversee creative development across all channels and marketing functions. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Associate at AdvanceCT, where they designed reports, presentations, and other materials to promote the organization's projects, and managed social media creation, scheduling, and engagement.

Before joining AdvanceCT, Danae worked as a Marketing Associate at Cobalt Media Marketing, where they designed marketing materials and managed client social media accounts. Danae also gained experience in website design and editing with Wordpress.

Danae's previous roles include Marketing & Design Assistant at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, where they published and edited original copy for various promotional materials and created graphics for the website. Danae also interned as a Journalism Intern at the same organization.

Additionally, Danae has experience as a Student Worker at Southern Connecticut State University, where they contributed to the Violence Prevention, Victim Advocacy & Support Center. In this role, they designed flyers, webpages, and social media posts, and planned events related to domestic violence prevention.

In both cases, their respective fields of study were General English Language and Literature, as well as Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
