Martin Kirchberger, Dr. has a diverse range of work experience. Martin started their career as a Student Intern at Schattdecor AG in Shanghai in 2003. Martin then worked as a Liaison Officer at the Austrian Ministry for European and International Affairs during the Austrian EU Council Presidency in 2006.
In 2010, Martin joined Phonak as a Research Engineer, where they stayed until 2015. During their time at Phonak, they gained experience in research and engineering within the company.
Next, they joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 2015 as a Junior Consultant, and later became a Consultant until 2017. At BCG, they provided consulting services to clients in various industries.
In 2017, Martin joined the Sonova Group as a Project Manager, and later became a Senior Project Manager until 2021. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Director Clinical Deployment at Sonova Group and held this position until 2023.
Currently, Martin holds the position of Director Market Development & Operations DACH at Advanced Bionics, which they have been serving since 2023. Overall, their work experience spans across project management, consulting, research, and engineering roles in various organizations.
Dr. Martin Kirchberger completed their education at various institutions. From 2005 to 2011, they attended Technische Universität Graz, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical & Sound Engineering. Martin then pursued further studies at ETH Zürich from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Doctor of Science (PhD) degree. During their time at ETH Zürich, Dr. Kirchberger specialized in the Department of Health Sciences & Technology. Additionally, in 2007 and 2008, they participated in the Visiting Student program at Tsinghua University, focusing on Chinese Studies.
