Chris Berka is the CEO and Founder of Advanced Brain Monitoring, a position held since January 1999, where oversight of the development and commercialization of FDA-cleared portable brain monitoring devices for assessing alertness and cognition in sleep and neurological disorders is provided. Previously, Chris served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Psychemedics from June 1987 to 1998, and also held the role of Director of Clinical Research, focusing on recruitment and management of a scientific advisory board and clinical research protocols. Early career experience includes positions as a Staff Research Assistant and Clinical Research Fellow at the University of California Los Angeles Psychiatry Department, investigating cognitive mechanisms and designing neurophysiological studies in children with ADHD. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Psychology from Ohio State University, earned between 1975 and 1979.
