Nasser Kutkut is a seasoned entrepreneur and academic with extensive expertise in energy management and innovative technologies. As the CEO and Founder of Smart Charging Technologies, Nasser co-developed cutting-edge IoT solutions for industrial electric vehicles and energy credit management services within compliance carbon markets. Nasser is also a Co-Founder and Partner at Isla Verde Capital, an investment fund manager focused on carbon credit markets, and serves as Partner and Consulting CTO at Advanced Charging Technologies, where Nasser pioneered the first line of IoT battery charging systems for material handling. In academia, Nasser holds positions as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Arabian Gulf University and a Graduate Faculty Scholar at the University of Central Florida, emphasizing renewable energy and power electronics. Nasser’s prior leadership roles include General Manager of the MENA region at Petra Systems, Founder and CEO of Power Designers, LLC, and Co-Founder of Soft Switching Technologies, complemented by a robust educational background in business and electrical engineering.
