Scott Roper has a wide range of experience in sales and management roles. Starting in 1991, they worked at Texas Instruments, where they served as an Account Manager and later as a Product Marketing and Business Development Manager. During their time there, they were responsible for revenue growth and account ownership for various accounts, as well as developing and communicating TI's networking strategy.
In 2000, Roper joined Colorado Microdisplay/Zight as a Product Manager and Business Development professional, where they were involved in product development and marketing for near-eye microdisplay products.
Roper returned to Texas Instruments in 2001 as a Senior Account Manager and later as a Regional Sales Manager. In these roles, they managed sales functions across multiple western markets and led internal and contract sales teams. Scott also played a key role in revenue growth and account ownership for strategic accounts, including Hewlett Packard.
In 2013, Roper joined Active-Semi International, Inc. as the Director of America Sales. During their time there, they were responsible for sales, applications, and business development for the Americas region. Scott achieved significant revenue growth and implemented company-wide CRM systems and sales incentive plans.
Most recently, Roper worked at Qorvo, Inc. from 2019 to 2021 as a Senior Sales Manager, responsible for all Americas' sales activities and organization for Qorvo's Programmable Power Management Solutions.
In 2021, Roper joined Advanced Energy as the VP of Americas Sales.
Scott Roper obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Michigan State University between 1986 and 1991. Scott also holds a certification in Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure from Google Cloud | G Suite, completed in 2019.
