Advanced Ionics
Hoang Viet Phuc Nguyen is a Principal Materials Engineer at Advanced Ionics, where core technologies for cell architecture, materials, and testing have been developed since December 2020. Previously, Nguyen served as a SOFC Development Engineer at Watt Fuel Cell Corp., focusing on advanced materials and coatings for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) from June 2018 to May 2020. As a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from February 2015 to February 2018, significant contributions were made to various fuel cell development projects. Nguyen's earlier experience includes a role as a Visiting Scientist at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology from August 2007 to January 2015 and serving as a Materials Scientist/Lab Manager, where research on molten carbonate fuel cells (MCFCs) was conducted. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Kyung Hee University and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
