Jason Cox

Jason Cox is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in silicon design and microprocessor engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Silicon Design Engineering at AMD, Jason is focused on advancing the CPU Cores design organization in Cambridge, UK. Previously, Jason held the position of Director of Engineering for Microprocessor Design and Verification at Microsoft, managing teams dedicated to custom silicon solutions for various computing applications. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Staff Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm, overseeing a CPU Design and Verification team, and Development Manager at IBM, where Jason provided direction for embedded PowerPC backend processor design. Additionally, Jason contributed significantly as an Advisory Engineer at IBM, earning recognition as a Master Inventor. An educational background in Computer Engineering was solidified through advanced degrees from North Carolina State University.
