Jeff Lin

Jeff Lin is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as Principal Member of Technical Staff at AMD since February 2022, focusing on machine learning IP and software for the Xilinx Versal device. Previously, Jeff held the role of Principal Engineer at Xilinx from October 2012 to February 2022, contributing significantly to the development of DPU v1 for Xilinx Ultrascale+ and designing platforms for Ultrascale devices. Prior to Xilinx, Jeff worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Achronix Semiconductor, specializing in serdes design and validation, and as a Staff Engineer at Beceem Communications, collaborating on PHY sub-block verification for Wimax chips. Additional experience includes positions at Immenstar and Centillium Communications, with a strong emphasis on verification roles. Jeff holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
