Ralph Wittig

Ralph Wittig is a Corporate Fellow at AMD, currently serving as the CVP Head of Research & Advanced Development since February 2022, where focus areas include product-oriented pathfinding and advanced research. Prior to this, Ralph held various significant positions at Xilinx from September 1995 to February 2022, including Fellow for AI & ML, where efforts concentrated on machine learning processor architecture and development flows, and distinguished engineer roles emphasizing technology assessment and derisking. Ralph's early roles at Xilinx involved directorships overseeing the integration of FPGAs into high-performance computing solutions and managing microprocessor development. Educational qualifications include a M.A.Sc. in Computer Engineering and a B.A. Sc. in Electrical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Toronto.
