Zao Liu

Zao Liu is a seasoned engineer specializing in AI software and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at AMD since October 2024. Prior experience includes leading AI software initiatives at Everguard.ai and contributing to AWS AI's deep learning frameworks at Amazon. Zao has developed efficient inference mechanisms for deep learning models at Cadence Design Systems and held significant roles at Xilinx and Intel Corporation, focusing on high-speed I/O modeling and system-level analysis. An academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC Riverside, complemented by a Master's from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
