Jason Young currently serves as the Director of the Division of Communications at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), leading the COMPASS initiative to promote the agency's groundbreaking health innovation programs. Previously, Jason held the position of President at Palladian Partners, Inc., overseeing health and science communications. Notable prior roles include Senior Vice President of External Relations at AARP, where outreach and advocacy for 38 million members were emphasized, and Senior Advisor to the Commissioner at the FDA, where media relations were coordinated for the agency. Jason also contributed to the American Psychiatric Association as Chief Communications Officer and served in various capacities at the US Department of Health and Human Services. Educated with an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BA in Economics, Jason has extensive experience in health communications and public affairs.
