Shawn Makanvand has 15 years of work experience in software engineering and development management. Shawn began their career in 1997 as a Software Engineer at Zygo Corporation. In 2005, they moved to Optical Systems Corporation as a Software Engineer. In 2009, they joined Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems as a Software Engineer. In 2010, they took a Software Manager role at Seagate Technology. In 2020, they assumed the position of Software Development Manager at both Advanced Spectral Technology, Inc. and Advanced Bionics.
Shawn Makanvand is currently attending Missouri University of Science and Technology.
