Nick Kacsandi is currently the Vice President of Innovation + Business Development at ATI | Advanced Technology International, as well as the Executive Director at TechConnect Ventures. With a background in biology and exercise physiology, Nick has extensive experience in leading innovation service portfolios, managing open innovation programs, and providing consulting services for both domestic and international clients. Prior to their current roles, Nick held positions at NineSigma where Nick focused on external collaboration, technology connections, and open innovation strategy advising. Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated a strong ability to identify and analyze emerging technologies, develop open innovation programs, and support clients in achieving their business goals.

Advanced Technology International (ATI), a public-service nonprofit, lessens the burden of government by coordinating and managing our country’s most innovative research initiatives. Our expertise is rooted in helping Department of Defense (DoD) sponsors identify their needs and source solutions from a focused consortium of diverse innovators from industry and academia. ATI manages Other Transaction Agreement (OTA)-based and Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR)-based collaborations, of which many are for the DoD.
