Alexander Gerofsky

Alexander Gerofsky has diverse work experience in the engineering field. Alexander started their career at Honeywell as a Process Engineering Intern, where they completed engineering calculations and developed documentation for a capital project. Alexander then worked at The Cooper Union as an IT Supervisor, providing technical support and managing student payroll. Returning to Honeywell, Alexander served as a Reliability Engineer, optimizing lubrication systems and managing the piping inspection program. Alexander later transitioned to a Process Engineer role, focusing on troubleshooting, yield management, and process optimization. Alongside their work at Honeywell, Alexander also contributed to the World U.P. Foundation as a Board Member, where they provided strategic vision, built relationships with stakeholders, and fundraised for increased corporate support. Alexander is currently employed as a Lead Process Engineer at AdvanSix, leading global and project process hazard analyses and coordinating trials for process improvement.

Alexander Gerofsky earned a B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Certified PHA Practitioner from Primacert and Level I Machine Lubricant Analyst from the International Council for Machinery Lubrication in September 2012. Alexander also received the Fundamentals of Engineering, Chemical Engineering certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying in 2012.
