Mike Hamilton is the vice president and business director of AdvanSix’s Plant Nutrients business. In this role, he leads a team that markets, promotes and provides ammonium sulfate to customers around the world as a superior nitrogen and sulfur fertilizer used to grow high-value crops. Prior to joining the Plant Nutrients business, Mike held multiple positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, product management, finance and environmental compliance with AdvanSix and its legacy companies. He began his career in an engineering position with AlliedSignal and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Mike serves on the Board of Directors of The Fertilizer Institute. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.
