Nihal Patel

Nihal Patel currently serves as the Director of Strategic Analytics and Operational Excellence at Adventist HealthCare, a position held since December 2023. Previously, Nihal worked at the Maryland Hospital Association from April 2022 to December 2023 as the Director of Health Care Payment. Before that, Nihal had a tenure at the University of Maryland Medical System from November 2015 to April 2022, where roles included Senior Manager of Healthcare Policy & Methodology, Manager of Population Health Policy & Analytics, Reimbursement Coordinator, and Senior Financial Analyst. Nihal's career began at GEICO as a Product Management Analyst III from June 2013 to November 2015, focusing on testing underwriting models and evaluating their efficacy. Nihal obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the University of South Carolina between 2008 and 2012.
