Shawntez Smith

Shawntez Smith, M.S. is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in healthcare and support roles. Currently serving as a Unit Support Coordinator at the Center For Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine since December 2015, Shawntez also volunteers with the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention as a CDC Volunteer since September 2015. Previous experience includes working as a Student Volunteer at Adventist HealthCare, where responsibilities included assisting in the Emergency Department, and serving on the Washington Wizards Power Pack & Energy Squad at Monumental Sports & Entertainment from September 2014 to May 2017. Additionally, Shawntez contributed as a Laboratory & Teaching Assistant in the Science Department, tutoring students in chemistry and maintaining laboratory equipment. A background in medical observation during a Stepping Stones program at Shady Grove Medical Center further complements Shawntez's hands-on experience in various medical fields. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Pre-Med from Washington Adventist University and further education at Kansas City University between 2020 and 2021.
