Aneta Ferguson

Aneta Ferguson, JD, serves as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Adverum Biotechnologies since 2024, following a role as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at ARS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in the same year, and previously as Vice President and Head of Global Legal Affairs at Reneo Pharmaceuticals from 2023 to 2024. Aneta has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, providing legal guidance on corporate and compliance issues globally, including SEC compliance, clinical trials, and intellectual property matters. Prior roles include Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Avanir Pharmaceuticals from 2015 to 2023, as well as various positions at Latham & Watkins LLP from 2009 to 2015. Aneta holds a JD with a specialization in Business Law from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, and has pursued numerous executive education certifications in leadership and privacy law from Harvard Law School and other institutions.
