Dr. Claus Jessen studied mechanical engineering in Darmstadt and Aachen, where he also did his doctorate. He started at Fresenius as a project engineer in the development of disposable items and the associated automation technology. When Fresenius Medical Care was founded, he became head of development and later plant manager in the production plant for dialysis machines in Schweinfurt.
Afterward, Dr. Jessen was the plant manager for the production of pneumatic drives in Saarland at Festo. Professional development at Festo led from responsibility for global production to the board of directors for supply chain and the chairmanship of the board.
Dr. Jessen has been with ADVITOS since it was founded and took over responsibility for research and development at the beginning of 2021. He has been the managing director of ADVITOS GmbH since June 2022.
