Adam Halstead has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Adam started their career in 2003 as a Graphic Designer in the US Army, where they received training on graphic design principles and created presentations, drawings, paintings, and publications. Adam then transitioned to the role of Army Recruiter, where they successfully hired 40 new Soldiers and developed training plans for new recruits. In 2008, Adam became a Communications Officer, leading a team of IT and telecommunications professionals and overseeing network connectivity. Adam was commended for outstanding performance and selected for a classified exercise. After leaving the military, Adam joined Comcast Cable as an Operations Manager, where they led a team in installation and service operations and implemented supervisor development training. In 2016, they joined MAXIMUS as a Manager and later Senior Manager of Learning & Development, responsible for creating leadership development and professional development courses. Adam also led a team of training professionals and collaborated with internal clients on needs analyses and training plans. Currently, Adam is the Director of Learning and Development at Advocates for Human Potential, Inc., where they are building a new department and leading a team of instructional designers.
Adam Halstead completed their education at two different institutions. From 1998 to 2002, they attended Rochester Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Film and Animation. Following this, they pursued further studies at Troy University from 2010 to 2011, where they attained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management.
