Sara Lappano, PE has a solid and extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Sara is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at AE Works Ltd. since January 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Managing Principal at Integral Group from August 2017 to November 2020. Sara also has experience as a Principal at SmithGroupJJR from 2008 to July 2017, and as a Lighting Designer at D. Gilmore Lighting Design from 2006 to 2008. Sara started their career as a Graduate Electrical Engineer at SmithGroup in 2004.
Sara Lappano, PE, obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S) and Masters of Architectural Engineering degrees from Penn State University. Sara specialized in Lighting Design and Electrical Engineering during their time at the university, completing their studies from 1998 to 2003.
