Charles Stein

Charles Stein, PE, DBIA, is an Engineering Manager for Transportation at AECOM, a position held since April 2017. Prior experience includes serving as the Innovative Contracts Unit Manager at the Michigan Department of Transportation from January 2002 to April 2017, where responsibilities encompassed the management of innovative contracting projects using Design-Build and other non-traditional methods. Previously, Charles held roles such as Innovative Design Engineer, Cost and Scheduling Engineer, Region Bridge Program Engineer, and Transportation Engineer, addressing various aspects of project management, planning, and quality assurance in statewide transportation efforts. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University, obtained between 1998 and 2001.
