Fernanda Alonso

Fernanda Alonso is an experienced Environmental Engineer currently serving as Environmental Engineer II at AECOM since April 2024. Previously, Fernanda held the position of Staff Environmental Engineer I at Haley & Aldrich from March 2022 to February 2024. During an academic tenure at the University of California, Riverside, Fernanda participated in various roles including M.E.N Research Lab, where cell cultivation work was conducted, and served as Vice President and Treasurer for the Chemistry Club, where leadership and financial administration skills were demonstrated. Fernanda also contributed as an undergraduate researcher in Kisailus' Biomimetics and Nanostructured Materials Lab, proposing innovative ideas for water filtration applications. With a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering and currently pursuing a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Fernanda possesses a solid educational foundation alongside extensive involvement in fundraising and community engagement through roles held in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and the Chemistry Club.
