Yude Chen

Yude Chen, P.E. is a seasoned geotechnical engineer currently serving as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at AECOM since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager at NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC, where responsibilities encompassed project management, quality assurance, and geotechnical design for the transportation and public sector from May 2015 to January 2023. Yude has also contributed as a Graduate Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on numerical modeling related to crack propagation in rock; served as a Political Affairs Officer with the ROC Army in Taiwan; and worked as a Research Assistant at National Taiwan University on interdisciplinary research involving geological investigations. Yude's foundational experience also includes an internship at Sino Geotechnology, Inc., where engagement with safety monitoring and geological exploration took place. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from National Taiwan University.
