Jorge Tauroni has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Jorge has worked as a Project Director for Aecon Group Inc. since 2018, where they are responsible for ensuring project design and construction are completed according to contract specifications. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Director for OHL Construction Canada Inc. from 2012 to 2018, and for Obrascón Huarte Lain, S.A. (OHL) from 2000 to 2011. In these roles, they managed various transit and infrastructure projects, including the construction of tunnels, subway stations, and bridges. Jorge Tauroni started their career as a Project Manager/Project Engineer for Grupo ACS from 1996 to 1999, and later as a Project Manager for SANDO in 1999.
Jorge Tauroni completed a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Foundations & Structures at the Polytechnic University of Madrid from 1990 to 1996. Jorge also holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering at the European Qualification Framework - Level 7.
