Vice President at AEM

James How has over 30 years of work experience in engineering and leadership roles. James started their career in 1986 as a Section Manager and Senior Staff Engineer in the Micro Business Unit, where they were responsible for process and equipment engineering and pioneered in BGA Technology. James then moved on to become a Department Manager and Principal Staff Engineer at Motorola IC Packaging and Assembly Technology, where they set up a new organization to support global IC packaging and assembly technology development. James also maintained the IC Packaging Technology roadmap for communication products and represented Motorola in a Research Lab Consortium. James then worked at Motorola Tech and Product Realization Center as a Department Manager and Member of Tech Staff, leading one of two Motorola Global Display Design Centers and working with global display component suppliers. James further worked as the Director of Engineering and Member of Tech Staff at Motorola, where they were involved in 2G/3G cellular product development and pioneered in DFSS data-driven business process implementation. Currently, James serves as the Vice President at AEM Singapore Pte Ltd, overseeing business development and leading cross-functional teams in the development of automation equipment for top semiconductor and solar manufacturers. James has experience in device technology roadmap and realization plan for smart machines, as well as starting up new business units and exploring new business opportunities.

James How completed their Master of Science degree in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering at Curtin University. No specific dates were provided for their studies at Curtin University.
