Steve Ade has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve started their career in 1997 as a Director of Mechanical Engineering at Aetrium, where they managed projects for IBM, Micron, and Intel. Steve then worked at Cohu, Inc. from 2001 to 2005 as a Senior Engineering Project Manager and Program Manager, focusing on semiconductor test equipment for Intel. At Lytron/Lydall from 2005 to 2011, they served as the Western Channel Sales Manager and Worldwide Account Manager for Intel, significantly increasing sales and negotiating purchase agreements. From 2011 to 2020, Steve worked at SMC, where they were responsible for sales growth in various industries such as mining, aggregates, and power generation. Their most recent role was at Aggreko USA LLC, where they served as the BDM Mining USA, focusing on developing and implementing mining solutions in North America. In 2021, Steve joined AEM as the Director of US Business Operations.
Steve Ade received their education in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Indiana University Indianapolis. Steve obtained a certification as a Certified Firefighter from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 1981.
