Matthew Holmes

Matthew Holmes possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Principal in both Systems Performance and Commercial, as well as Future Power System Security at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since April 2017. Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Senior Manager in Power & Utilities at EY from October 2014, following EY's acquisition of ROAM Consulting, where Matthew was a Principal in Software Engineering Projects from January 2003 to October 2014. Early career experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at global-roam Pty Ltd from 2001 to 2002. Matthew holds a degree in Software Engineering from The University of Queensland, alongside studies in Project Management, Systems Engineering, Programming, and Databases.
