Tobias Jones

Tobias Jones is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on project management and tunnel engineering. Currently serving as the Principal Project Manager for VNI West at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since August 2022, Tobias previously held roles at Transurban, including Tunnel Manager and Senior Project Engineer for the West Gate Tunnel Project from November 2018 to August 2022. Additional experience includes positions at Lendlease as a Senior Project Engineer for the Metro Tunnel, and various engineering roles at Aurecon, where significant projects included the Metro Tunnel, St Helena Tunnels, and Hong Kong MTR C904. Tobias began the professional journey at VicRoads and Kluge Jackson Consultants Pty Ltd after obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
