Alejandro began his professional career in ENAIRE as an air traffic controller in 2003 in the ACC of Barcelona, ​​where he has held different positions as operational controller: En Route Controller, Approach Controller and Instructor in the TMA of Barcelona. In 2015 he assumed responsibilities as Head of Regional Department of Operational Safety in the Eastern Region and has been a representative in the Commission for the Study and Analysis of Air Traffic Incidents (CEANITA).

In the last three years, he has developed his career in Eurocontrol, commissioned by ENAIRE. In a first period, as Coordinator between ENAIRE and the Network Manager, and later, appointed by the DGAC, Spanish Liaison Officer at Eurocontrol, reporting both to ENAIRE and to the DGAC.

Alejandro holds a degree in Civil Navy (Naval Machines) from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and 2nd Engineer Officer of the Merchant Navy. In 2013-14 he completed the Executive Master's Degree in Business Administration at the IESE Business School (Universidad de Navarra - Barcelona).
